Rachel incontra Gar, nella sua forma da tigre, mentre fugge attraverso i boschi. Gar porta Rachel a casa sua, dove incontra Cliff Steel / Robotman, Larry Trainor / Negative Man e Rita Farr / Elasti-Woman. Il dottor Niles Caulder / The Chief arriva, furioso con Gar per aver portato un estraneo nella loro casa – dove vivono in segreto – ma è interessato a eseguire test su Rachel. Lei è d’accordo, ma poi chiede di essere estratta dal tavolo.
